General enquiries#
For questions, ideas, partnerships or permission to reuse FairlySoon material, contact FairlySoon at hello@fairlysoon.com.
Report a problem or suggest an improvement#
Open FairlySoon’s planning map in your browser, open the three-line menu at the top right and choose Feedback. On narrow screens with the sidebar open, the menu sits in the sidebar header.
The Help improve FairlySoon form accepts more than bug reports:
- Choose Bug, Looks wrong or Idea.
- Describe what you were trying to do, what happened and what you expected—or explain your suggestion. For a forecast issue, include the model, forecast time and approximate area if you are comfortable sharing them.
- Optionally add an email address if you would like a reply.
- Open Preview technical details to review the browser information that will accompany your message. Untick Include technical details to omit it.
- Select Send feedback. A confirmation appears when it has been sent to our GitHub issue tracker.
If the planner will not open, or you prefer email, write to hello@fairlysoon.com. You can include screenshots by email; check them for saved routes and location details before sharing. Do not send invitation links or private voyage information through the feedback form. See Privacy for what it sends.
Privacy and access requests#
Email hello@fairlysoon.com to ask about your information, request removal of an earlier invitation request, or report an access problem. See the privacy policy for the difference between device storage and retained invitation records.
Report a security concern privately#
Email a description and the minimum steps needed to reproduce the issue. Please avoid publishing usable credentials or accessing anyone else’s information.
Not an emergency service#
This inbox and the feedback form are not monitored continuously. For an emergency at sea, use the appropriate maritime distress channels and local rescue services. Do not wait for a reply from FairlySoon.
